Electrical infrastructure, transmission and distribution work with the Ram-Tilt Coupler
"The hitch increases productivity, I'm happy that the job is getting done a lot quicker"
- Connal Hanvey of JDG Civil
Owner of JDG Civil, Connal Hanvey initially started the company with just himself and one machine. Connal had no idea that 9 years later, JDG Civil would become one of New South Wales leading electrical infrastructure, transmission and distribution companies with countless projects on hand.
Connal's first tilting hitch was the Calibre Ram-Tilt Coupler to suit his brand new JS 200 machine. The reason Connal chose Calibre over other brands was due to the tilting hitch being robust, double-locking and compliant beyond the latest Australasian safety regulations.
We caught up with both Connal and one of JDG Civil's longtime operators, Michael Collins to see if the Calibre Ram-Tilt Coupler has met their expectations out on the field. From a business owner point of view, Connal noted that the Calibre Ram-Tilt has further increased productivity on site. He mentions, "[The Ram-Tilt] makes [the operators] job easier which increases productivity so they’re happier to get the job done a lot quicker and I’m happy for them to be getting through the job quicker."
Michael Collins also adds "My favourite feature of the Ram-Tilt is the two big rams on either side, nice, strong and sturdy. It doesn’t take power from the machine when pulling the batters. The Ram-Tilt hitch has improved our productivity."
See what else Connal and Michael had to say in the video above!
